Vintage Mail Box

Part of the charm of small towns in America is all the little pieces of time gone by you can find if you just look.

These are little things, mind you. Trim on a building. Something in the window. Or even a mailbox.

This mailbox belongs to a small shop in Wilmington, Ohio. It’s a little piece of yesteryear bolted onto a door frame of a building that’s at least 100 years old.

I shot these with a Nikon D200, Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens, and used DXO Film Pack 5 for the emulations. I can’t remember what I used, though. Sorry.

Still, this doesn’t matter. You know why.

Go. Find. Photograph.
